i'm listening to the rocks growing straining to hear a sound and then i'm falling,                                   falling,                                              falling, not drifting, c-r-a-s-h-i-n-g to the ground. and still, the silence beside me makes not the faintest sound, and then is loud. and my ears are screaming back at me, why do the rocks make a sound? why is not the silence, as quiet as the ground? and the serenity is broken and yet was never sound and a feather drifts beside me falling,            to the ground.
